The Mercedes-Benz ML, a midsize SUV now in its second generation, has improved in every way frompast models.
The new 550 replaces the 500 model with a 5.5-liter V8 that churns out a potent 382 horsepower andan impressive 391 lb.-ft. of torque at a pretty lowrpm. All models come with 4Matic full-time four-wheel drive and a seven-speed automatic transmis-sion.
The styling of the latest ML bespeaks class andpresence. The 550 comes with an AMG-inspiredfront fascia, 19-inch AMG five-spoke wheels, run- ning boards, rear bumpers, dual exhaust and a stan-dard moon roof.
